Capturing Emotions Forever

Painters often excavate their own memories and photo albums for imagery and feelings that they want to memorialize in a meaningful way. This painting, part of the advanced curriculum is from Amy, who painted a picture of her mother. As it developed before the class, many layers, each pattern painstakingly applied and dappled, we all beam with pride to see the progress.

You don’t even have to know these people personally to remember this feeling.

We only live once. Long after all of us are gone this painting will live on and will be a part of the family.

Best,

Kimberly
